Special Edition: 9/11 Rising Above - Music & The Spoken Word
On this day 15 years ago a tragedy hit our nation although I was across the country and I didn't know anyone personally that was in the twin towers or the pentagon the memory of this stays engraved in my heart.
I was watching the news when the second plane hit the second tower and I stayed glued to the TV for what felt like hours as the towers fell and watching the aftermath. I cried for those who lost their lives in the towers and feom the effects of the ash and debris. It was sad to watch the clean up as the carried out the dead and I rejoiced when they found someone still alive yet sad for what they experienced.
It is one of those things that is forever engraved in my heart and although time does heal everything and I sometimes forget the lessons learned, I am grateful for the reminder of the lessons as I remember what happened on the anniversary of 9/11 and hope others remember the lessons as well.
Take time with your family and keep them on the top of your priority list, remember the blessings God has given you, be kind to others, be quick to repent and forgive, and let go of negative feelings.
